A system for authenticating a customer is provided to facilitate authentication of a messenger banking customer by receiving a messenger member authentication result from a messenger server when a messenger member logs in to the messenger server through a messenger program. An information storing part(120) links/stores messenger account information and non-facial banking authentication information of a messenger banking customer to a storage medium(130). An information receiver(115) authenticates the messenger member based on messenger member login information received from a messenger server(135), which receives the messenger login information including the messenger account information from a messenger terminal, and receives a messenger member authentication result including the messenger account information when the messenger member is authenticated. A validity checker(125) checks validity of the messenger banking customer by comparing the non-facial banking authentication information linked with the messenger account information received from the messenger server with the non-facial banking authentication information received from the messenger terminal. |
