COLLET AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A collect and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to simplify the manufacturing process for the collet by fabricating the collet made from a single material through a pressing process. A collet(10) is used to fasten a hose so that the hose is fixed in a hose insertion hole of a connection grip. The collet comprises a flange(12), a plurality of arms(16), and a clamping pin(18). The flange is formed with an insertion hole(14) into which the hose is inserted. The arms are bent from an end of the flange and extend in the upward direction. The clamp pin is bent from an end of the arm and extends toward the hose. The clamp pin is formed at an end thereof with a tooth section(22). The arm is provided with a protrusion(24) corresponding to a stepped portion of the hose insertion hole.
