The style set (510,520) includes a plurality of style information (512,522) and the dialog information (530) includes text information (534), reference style information (532) indicating one style information (512,522) which is to be applied to the text information (534) among the plurality of style information (512,522) and partial style information (536) applied to a portion of the text information (534). The style information (512,522) which is indicated by the reference style information (532) is applied to the dialog information (530) first and the partial style information (536) is applied to the dialog information later. Accordingly, an output style of the subtitle data can be changed in a variety of ways. Also, a special style can be applied in order to emphasize a portion of the subtitles.
