A method of extracting an active component from Agaricus blazei murrill by cell wall destruction using a cylinder filled with rigid body media is provided to destruct a rigid cell wall, to utilize active components in the cell wall and to leave no waste. Agaricus blazei murrill is crushed to 50 to 200 meshes and mixed with water to give a suspension containing 10 to 25% by weight of Agaricus blazei murrill. The suspension is put into a cylinder filled with 80 to 85% by volume of rigid body media with a diameter of 0.5 to 1.0mm, mixed at less than 80deg.C and then dried.
