<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust system for feed water equipment capable of hindering air bubbles from flowing into the feed water equipment when the feed water equipment operates with a small quantity of water, without changing the feed water equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust system for feed water equipment is provided with an air trap 25 that is disposed in suction piping 6 connected to a suction opening 6 of the feed water equipment and captures air bubbles in water, a float switch 33 that is disposed on the air trap 25 and detects trapped air by the change of liquid level, an exhaust port part 32 that is also disposed on the air trap and exhausts the trapped air, and a vacuum pump 52 connected to the exhaust port part 32 via an exhaust on-off valve. When the trapped air is detected by the float switch 33, air in the air trap 25 is exhausted with suction force of the vacuum pump 52 by the control part 70a, so that the drop in pumping power caused by air bubbles in operation with a small quantity of water can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
