A method for improving a digestion efficiency in the drying anaerobic digestion process is provided to enhance a digestion efficiency of organic materials, to increase the generation amount of biogas, and to improve the quality of compost. A drying anaerobic digestion process includes the steps of: digestion-treating organic materials to produce biogas and compost using anaerobic fermentation of anaerobic microorganisms, wherein the anaerobic fermentation is completed so as to provide a total solid content of 18% or more, based on the organic materials, during the anaerobic fermentation; and returning the digested sludge solids dehydrated by a sludge dehydration unit(3) so as to be mixed with a freshly incoming raw material, wherein only 55-56% of the digested sludge solids are returned and mixed. The drying anaerobic digestion process is improved by adding waste vegetable oils as a carbon source to the organic materials charged into the anaerobic fermentation, wherein the waste vegetable oils are added in an amount of 1.5-2.5 tons based on 100 tons of the organic materials. |
