<p>The invention relates to a method for production of a catalyst for the catalytic combustion of hydrocarbons, in particular, methane, wherein a hexaaluminate of formula MO . 6 Al2O3 is prepared,where M is at least one earth alkali metal and the at least one earth alkali metal and eth aluminium can be proportionately replaced by at lest one further metal and the hexaaluminate is milled to give a mean particle size D50 of less than 3 mum. The invention further relates to a catalyst as obtained by said method, a catalytic burner, comprising said catalyst, and a fuel cell arrangement including the catalytic burner.</p> |
