A despreading-based signal detection method and a signal transmission method therefore are provided to be capable of detecting a signal after performing a despreading process if the signal is a spread signal, thereby reducing a dimension of the detected signal. A receiving terminal receives signals including a signal spread in a transmission terminal according to each size of more than one spreading band determined by considering correlation of each frequency band(S501-S503). If one of the received signals is a spread signal by setting a frequency band having correlation of more than a predetermined level to a spreading band, the receiving terminal detects the signal after performing a despreading process(S504-S506).
