A MODIFIED MICROORGANISM PRODUCING L-THREONINE AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING L-THREONINE USING THEREOF

A transformed microorganism is provided to produce L-threonine with high yield by increasing expression of a gene involving with transporting of arabinose and controlling in vivo metabolism, thereby being usefully used for human medicine and pharmaceutical industries and feed industry. A modified E. coli with increased capability of producing L-threonine from pentose is transformed by a recombinant vector including an araC gene and is an E. coli CO01-0020 with a deposition (no. KCCM 10827P). To produce the L-threonine, the E. coli is cultured using the pentose such as arabinose or xylose as a carbon source.
