A clamping apparatus of a spindle motor for a dual disk is provided to prevent an end of a clamp from being inserted into a contact unit of a dual disk by rounding a stepped unit of the clamp. A clamping apparatus of a spindle motor for a dual disk includes a body(171), a plurality of claws(173), a plurality of clamps(175), and an elastic member(177). The body of a disk shape is rotatably fixed on a rotation axis. An inner circumference plane of a dual disk having an upper disk and a lower disk is inserted into an outer circumference plane of the body. The claws are formed on the outer circumference side of the body and support the dual disk so that a center of the dual disk is matched with a center of the rotation axis. An end of the clamps is located on an outer side of the body. The other end of clamps is located on an inner side of the body. The clamps are rotatably installed upwardly/downwardly and are linearly moved inwardly/outwardly. The clamps prevent the dual disk from being detached upwardly. The elastic member is installed inside the body, and elastically supports the clamps outwardly. A contact area of an upper inclination unit and a vertical unit of the clamps has a round shape.
