A side-emission light emitting diode package is provided to improve light emitting efficiency of an emitted beam from the LED package by increasing a brightness of the LED package using a reflector. A side-emission light emitting diode package includes first and second lead terminals(11,13), a package body(15), reflectors, an LED chip(17), and a transmissive resin. The first and second lead terminals are apart from each other. The package body supports the lead terminals and includes an LED chip implementation region and a long aperture for exposing the first and second lead terminals. The reflector has a height smaller than a sidewall of the aperture and arranged between the LED chip implementation region and the sidewall in a long-axis direction of the aperture. The LED chip is electrically connected to the first and second lead terminals. The transmissive resin fills in the aperture to cover the LED chip and the reflector.
