An input system for a portable communication device is provided to enable a user to input various kinds of sentences to various kinds of portable communication devices having no character and number input function, and shorten an input time by connecting to the portable communication device easily. A wired/wireless communication unit performing communication with a portable communication device. A key input unit(130) inputs characters, numbers, and symbols to the portable communication device. A mode selector(150) selects a mode comprising at least one key combination. A position changer(170) changes a position of a cursor for inputting a sentence and a storing part stores sentence groups. An input system is formed on a case(110) having a mouse shape. The key input unit is installed to a bottom side of the case and a screen output unit(140) is formed to an upper part of the case.
