Method for monitoring from a central location and device for taking, evaluating and selectivly displaying pictures of resting people

The method involves detecting continuously the upper surface (3) of a bed (2) in infrared light with three dimensional lytic sensor and displaying of three dimensional signals. The bed volume is calculated continuously and its temporal change on the basis of the three dimensional image and the motion analyzing of the monitored person (1). The signal of the video camera (11) are connected on the centralized video monitor. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for receiving, evaluation and selective display of inactive person due to taking of motion analysis.
