摘要 A precast concrete connection block and a continuity method of a composite bridge using the same are provided to interconnect main girders by pouring concrete or mortar in a space between the main girder and the connection block. A precast concrete connection block(10) is recessed by a predetermined depth at both sides to install main girders. Elastic pads(12) are installed to the recesses to prevent damage of the main girders. An internal horizontal beam(13) installed to transmit load from the main girder to a permanent support. Installed at the horizontal beam, stirrup rebars(17) protrude out of the top surface of the block to use for shear connectors(14). A continuity method of a composite bridge includes the steps of: fixing the precast concrete connection block on the permanent support; installing the main girders at the connection blocks; and pouring concrete or mortar in a space(11) between the main girder and the connection block to interconnect the main girders.
