The In line Package tipper consists of a set of Y frames 1 mounted on a rotatable shaft 6 which has a bearing block 4 at each end. The bearing blocks 4 are fixed to a carriage 9, which is mounted on two guide rods 5 and is free to move along these guide rods 5. One of the Y frames 1 is connected to an arm 2 by a pin 7 at one end, the other end of the arm 2 is secured to a stationary bracket 3 by a pin 8. Arm 2 is free to rotate about both pins 7 and 8. When the carriage 9 is moved shaft 6 is rotated and the Y frames 1 turn and tip the package. |
