A disk brake system having a brake lining arrangement device is provided to compensate for gap between a brake lining and a disk by allowing a back member to descend due to self-weight when gap between a lever and the member is generated by abrasion of the lining. A disk brake system having a brake lining arrangement device comprises a pair of levers(120,120a) arranged to open and close in both sides of a disk(190), brake linings(135,135a) attachable to the levers, a thruster(150) and a brake spring(160) that provide operational force of the lever, a link member(180) converting vertical motion of the thruster and brake spring into open/close motion of the lever, a brake lining gap controller(170) adjusting gap between the levers and a lining arrangement device(140) supporting the lever to position the disk in the center of the levers. In addition, the lining arrangement device comprises a vertical plate installed to be vertical to a base plate, a back plate attached to the lever and allowing a surface facing the vertical plate to be inclined downward and a support plate connected to the vertical plate to move vertically.
