SUPRAMOLECULAR COMPLEX OF PACLITAXEL

摘要

A supramolecular complex of paclitaxel is provided to show high water-solubility of the paclitaxel by using a polymer of a cyclodextrin-based material and a polyethyleneglycol-based material, thereby being clinically applied as an anti-cancer agent. A supramolecular complex of paclitaxel comprises paclitaxel and a polymer of a cyclodextrin-based material and a polyethyleneglycol-based material as a water-soluble polymer, wherein the cyclodextrin-based material includes cyclodextrin and a derivative thereof and the polyethyleneglycol-based material includes polyethyleneglycol, a derivative thereof and a polyethyleneglycol copolymer. Further, a molecular weight of the polyethyleneglycol-based mater is 200 to 10000 g/mol.
