A system and a method for managing a group interaction session state are provided to enable a service broker to restart and stop a computer supporting multi-user session formed by a plurality of joiners and the service blocker. A service broker(220) includes a memory(660), an I/O(Input/Output) subsystem(620) for transmitting session data and communicating with plural joiners, and a processor(640) operated by connecting to the memory and executing a command. The command executed by the processor enables the processor to receive a trigger event for restarting an interrupt session from one joiner, verify whether the interrupted session can be restarted, transmit a restarting request to the joiners, reconstruct relation between the joiners and the service broker, and transmit a stored part related to a session state to the joiners to restart the interrupted session from an interrupted point. The session state includes a unique session ID identifying the session, the unique session ID of the joiners, and a collocated state of all session joiners.
