A computer telephone communication device and a telephone having the device are provided to notify a computer of a receiving state of the telephone by connecting the computer with the telephone, in order to realize a CID(Caller Identification) system. A telephone line connector(31) connects a telephone line of a telephone office or a personal telephone automatic switching device. A telephone connector(33) connects a telephone line of a telephone. A USB(Universal Serial Bus) connector(45) is connected to transceive data with a computer. A USB converter(43) converts a USB communication protocol into an RS-232 data standard, and converts RS-232 data into a USB communication protocol to send the converted protocol to the computer. A DTMF(Dual Tone Multi Frequency) tone receiver(37) receives DTMF data. A DTMF tone generator(39) converts data sent from the computer into DTMF data recognizable by a telephone exchange. A telephone line controller(35) sends the DTMF data sent from the telephone connector to the DTMF receiver, and sends the DTMF data generated from the DTMF tone generator to the telephone line connector. A main controller(41) sends the DTMF data received in the receiver to the USB converter, and sends data transmitted from the USB converter to the DTMF tone generator. |
