An apparatus for preparing a chopping board for book bindings and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to lengthen the life span of products and to ensure the same height and surface roughness of the products. An apparatus for preparing a chopping board for book bindings comprises a base(10), and a cutter(20) having a plurality of cutting blades(21), which extended in the circumferential direction of the base, to be rotated by a driving force supplied by a driving motor(22). The cutter is provided at both ends thereof with a fixing stand(30) and a pressing stand(40) to guide the chopping board. An interval maintaining member(50) is disposed at the fixing stand and the pressing stand while facing one side thereof to reciprocate back and forth. A transferring member(60) forcibly advances the chopping board disposed between the fixing stand and the interval maintaining member. |
