A road board unit for a crosswalk is provided to help people recognize the crosswalk in a rainy or foggy weather, or at night by emitting light from a light unit. A road board unit for a crosswalk comprises a plurality of road upper boards(10), a light unit(30), a light cover(35), a drive motor(41), and a power unit. The road upper boards are installed on a road to serve as the crosswalk. Installed in the road upper board, the light unit includes a light emitting member(31) and a reflecting member(33). The reflecting member is installed to reflect lights from the light emitting member to the road upper board. Installed in the road upper board, the light cover reciprocates between a transmitting position at which the light from the light emitting member transmits and changes colors and an opening position at which the light from the light emitting member does not transmit. The drive motor reciprocates the light cover between the transmitting position and the opening position. The power unit supplies power to the light emitting member and the drive motor. |
