TWO STAGE RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR AND REFRIGERATOR HAVING THE SAME

A two-stage reciprocating compressor and a refrigerator equipped with the same are provided to reduce vibration generated when compressing gas by using vibration which is transferred from a first compressing unit to a second compressing unit through a vibration transmitting unit. A two-stage reciprocating compressor comprises a casing(100), a first compressing unit, a second compressing unit and a vibration transmitting member including a vibration transmitting member and a connection frame(810). The first compressing unit receives driving force from a reciprocating motor(M) such that a first piston(740) linearly reciprocates in a first cylinder(730). The second compressing unit receives vibration generated from the first compressing unit such that a second cylinder(830) draws and compresses gas while moving relative to a second piston(820). The first and second compressing units are connected opposite to each other by the vibration transmitting unit.
