SLOT EXTENSION AVAILABLE COMMUNICATION DEVICE BASED ON L-EXPRESSNET PROTOCOL

A slot extensible communication device based on an L-Expressnet protocol is provided to enable a base station receiving a transmission right based on the L-Expressnet protocol to receive an idle slot of a previous base station and to transmit data by using an extended slot according to the idle slot, thereby increasing transmission efficiency. A link receiver(15) receives a non-packet signal regarding whether data to be transmitted exists from a right-before base station, by using a link channel(90). A slot extending unit activates/outputs a slot extension signal for sending packets by using an extended slot if the non-packet signal is in activated state, and activates/outputs a packet transmission signal for sending the packets by using a normal slot which is not extended, if the non-packet signal is in inactivated state. A link transmitter(13) transmits a non-packet signal notifying a next base station whether data to be transmitted from the corresponding base station exists by using the link channel.
