An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the input sensitivity and prevent the failure in detection of coordinates due to poor alignment, thereby effectively detecting input positions selected by a user. A spacer(141) for touch is formed above a first substrate(101). A common electrode(150) is formed on the first substrate and the spacer. A gate metal pattern is formed on a second substrate facing the first substrate. The gate metal pattern includes a gate line, a gate electrode, and a first touch conductive line(215). A data metal pattern is formed above the gate metal pattern. The data metal pattern includes a data line, a source electrode, a drain electrode, and a second touch conductive line(245). A passivation layer(250) is formed above the data metal pattern. A first contact hole, a second contact hole(252), and a third contact hole(253) for exposing the drain electrode, the first touch conductive line, and the second touch conductive line respectively are formed in the passivation layer. First and second contact electrodes(270,280) connected to the first and second touch conductive lines respectively are formed on the passivation layer. The first and second contact electrodes have the same height.
