The invention relates to by-product coke production and concerns a horizontal coke oven. The oven contains heating walls, having the baffles, athwart to them, and equally distant distributing wall. In the first variant the burning of gases is realized in each pair of coupled heating channels mirror towards each oven chamber, and the removing of burning gases of heating gas in every next pair of heating channels. In the second variant the burning of heating gases is realized through one heating channel chequerwise, removing of burning gases of heating is realized similarly with periodical changing the direction of supply of heating gases and removing of burning gases of heating gas. The proposed construction provides a quantified heating and quantified cooling of heating walls of the coke oven with pressure balancing of heating gases in all heating channels. |
