The invention relates to chemical industry and can be used for neutralization of ammonia-tar liquors of production of phenol-formaldehyde resins.The task of the invention is the reduction of prices of the process of ammonia-tar liquor neutralization. A method comprises the introduction into ammonia-tar liquor of calcium oxide in quantity, equal to 1.1-2.0 of weight of ammonia-tar liquor, separation of liquid phase from crystallic one and burning of liquid phase.
