Method for loosening bottom soils with explosions includes drilling of blast holes in bottom soils, placement of electrodes to blast holes, there vessel with water-filled exothermal mix is fixed, this is ignited with electric discharge at application of high-voltage pulses to electrodes. Preliminary one determines seismically safe distance from place of implementation of explosions to buildings and constructions, and as water-filled electrode mix one uses composition that includes 40-45 % of aluminum with fraction content 30-35 % of large-disperse powder fraction and 10-5 % of fine-disperse fraction as powder covered with stearic acid. One uses electrode system with coaxial placement of electrodes, and vessel with water-filled exothermal mix is fixed on the lower part of negative electrode.
