A butt asynchronous electric motor having a free rotor of ring form out of conductive material comprises one or two ring stators comprises one or two stator with distributed windings on their butt surfaces from side of the rotor laid in slots at an angle of 0° to 90°. Outside radius of the rotor is not less than outside radius of stators. Slots in stators are laid in such a way that points of their axes being the nearest to stator center determine a ring named the dividing one.
