APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INTERFERENCE CANCELLATION IN MULTI-ANTENNA SYSTEM

An interference cancellation device in a multi-antenna system and a method therefore are provided to increase a conditional number by converting channel properties of users, thereby decreasing interference between the users without an additional function of a receiver. Channel information related to users to which services are to be provided is confirmed(501). A conversion matrix for converting channels of the users to be suited for a multi-user system is generated by using the channel information of the users(503,505). A precoding coefficient for canceling interference between the users is generated by using the conversion matrix(507-511). Signals are transmitted to the users by using the precoding coefficient and the conversion matrix(513).
