CODEBOOK GENERATING METHOD FOR MULTI-POLARIZED MIMO SYSTEM AND DEVICE OF ENABLING THE METHOD

A codebook generation method for a multi-polarized MIMO(Multi Input Multi Output) system and a device therefore are provided to generate a rotation matrix if polarized directions of transmission antennas are rotated, thereby more flexibly coping with changes of the polarized directions of the transmission antennas. A single-polarized precoding matrix allocator(510) allocates a single-polarized precoding matrix to diagonal blocks of plural blocks divided according to the number of polarized directions of transmission antennas. A zero matrix allocator(520) allocates a zero matrix to the rest of the blocks except the diagonal blocks. A precoding matrix generator(530) generates a precoding matrix by combining the zero matrix with the single-polarized precoding matrix.
