A support structure of an electro-osmosis member and an electro-osmosis pump are provided to prevent damage to the electro-osmosis member by supporting the electro-osmosis member by an elastic piece. A support structure of an electro-osmosis member comprises an electro-osmosis member(3) placed at a circular opening(61) at the center of a support frame(6), an elastic piece(63), and shock absorbing members(65). The elastic piece divides the opening and buffering spaces(62) formed on the support frame to support the electro-osmosis member. The shock absorbing members are filled between a wall of the opening and a periphery of the electro-osmosis member. The elastic piece and the buffering spaces are arranged along the periphery of the opening. The elastic piece includes projection parts(64) protruded toward the opening. The electro-osmosis member is supported by the projection parts and the elastic piece.
