<p>A base station switching method of a mobile communication terminal is provided to enable the terminal to reset a portable Internet network in real time even without switching to an active state in idle state, thereby increasing power-saving effect of the terminal. A control message including base station ID data is received from a base station of a paging group to which a terminal belongs(S210). If the base station ID data included in the control message is new data, connection is set to a new base station by referring to the base station ID data(S220,S230). If a terminal attempts network connection, the terminal is connected to the new base station where the connection is set(S240,S250). The control message is received through a paging channel.</p> |
