FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in treatment of technological air in various industrial processes, vehicle exhaust gas, or air in amenity rooms and medical facilities. Device includes positive 1 and negative 2 electrodes connected to electric power source generating electric field in the space between electrodes, and pipe 3 feeding gas medium to be cleaned into the space between electrodes, and pipe 4 for cleaned gas medium outlet. Positive electrode 1 is made in the form of cylindrical body and mounted as to move in opposite to gas medium feed direction against immobile negative electrode 2. Device features automatic unit of positive electrode 1 surface cleaning in the form of immobile scraper 9. Positive electrode 1 is mounted on platform 11 attached to rotor 12 of drive. Power source, rectifier 6, generator 7 and voltage multiplier 8 connected in sequence are positioned on platform 11 at the internal surface side of positive electrode 1.
