FIELD: medicine; orthopaedics. ^ SUBSTANCE: osteotomised rib fragments located by scapular line are fixed to axial support bar. Other fragments within retraction area are fixed to transverse bars. The latter are preliminary modelled paying considering chest correction from anterior or middle-axillary line to transverse processed of vertebra. Thus their one ends are fastened to permanent rib part, others with clips - to axial support bar. ^ EFFECT: method provides maximal possible correction of chest concavity ensuring more reliable result. ^ 5 dwg
