FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology. ^ SUBSTANCE: device for epithelial layer separation from cornea comprises separator with dull cutting edge of thickness more than thickness of at least one epithelial cell, and less than total thickness of epithelial layer. Device can be used with polymer film of hydration level causing its adhesion. It is possible to separate epithelial layer with basic membrane. Besides, it makes it possible to preserve separated epithelial layer in the form of disk without its damage. ^ EFFECT: provided separation of epithelial layer from cornea completely mechanically without stroma cutting and decreased losses of epithelial cells. ^ 56 cl, 28 dwg |
