FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of a container intended for storage and transportation of splitting materials and to method of its production. Container (10) for splitting material incorporates and internal circular bin (12) contained inside outer circular chamber (14). Bin (12) and guard rail (14) form inner chamber (16) surrounded by outer chamber (18). Locking mechanism (20) attaches bit (12) to guard rail (14) to make a seal between there. Two opposed holes (22) are furnished on container (10) upper part to introduce the splitting material into inner chamber (16) and to remove it from there. Holes (22) are shielded by flanges (24), while vent covers (23) seal holes (22). Circular container (10) features impact resistance. Outer chamber (18) acts as a damper for protection of inner chamber (16). In case out chamber (18) gets broken, the splitting material is contained in inner chamber (16). Outer chamber (18) will, also, keep a spilled splitting material if inner bin (12) gets destructed.
