A stove having a drying chamber and a combustion chamber wherein fuel is dried in the drying chamber before being burned in the combustion chamber. I n one embodiment, the drying chamber is located above the combustion chamber so th at after the fuel is dried in the drying chamber it can be dropped into the combustio n chamber for combustion.
