The module (1) has a steam reformer membrane module (4) e.g. plasma aided steam reforming reactor, for producing gaseous reformate, and a reservoir (6) for mixing ethanol and water. A combustor (5) exchanges heat energy with the steam reformer membrane module. A separation and enrichment unit (8) is supplied with mixture of ethanol and water from the reservoir, and provides an ethanol enriched fluid and a water enriched fluid. An independent claim is also included for a method for implementing a power module.
