The fibrous assembly for a composite part of an aircraft, comprises first and second preform plates of piled fibrous materials and designs for the first and second preforms, where the design of the first preform is complement to the design of the second preform. The first and second preforms are joined together with respect to their design, and have conjugate surfaces. Direction of piling of first preform fibrous materials is perpendicular to a direction of piling of second preform materials. The second preform is a tube of piled fibrous materials. Independent claims are included for: (1) a composite part comprising the fibrous assembly and a polymeric resin matrix; and (2) a process of manufacturing a composite part.
