A method for generating at least two sequence sets and a method for generating sequences for the same are provided to maintain PAPR(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio) and CM(Cubic Metric) characteristics in both time and frequency regions. A method for generating at least two sequence sets includes the steps of: selecting at least one sequence from each of first type sequences and second type sequences generated based on different lengths; and generating the at least two sequence sets by using the selected sequences. The first type sequence is generated by performing DC puncturing based on the length of available sub-carriers including a DC sub-carrier. The second type sequence is generated based on the length of the available sub-carriers except the DC sub-carrier while the sequence is not allocated to the DC sub-carrier.
