A layered electrophotographic photoreceptor, and an electrophotographic imaging apparatus containing the photoreceptor are provided to improve electrical properties and image characteristics. A layered electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises a conductive support; and a charge generation layer and a charge transport layer which are formed on the conductive support, wherein the charge generation layer comprises a polymer binder having a charge transport property and comprising a repeating unit represented by the formula 1. In the formula 1, n is an integer of 3-200; R1 to R4 are independently H, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 alkoxy group; and R5 is a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 alkylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 oxyalkylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6-C30 arylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6-C30 oxyarylene group or a substituted or unsubstituted C7-C30 aralkylene group.
