A flat panel display is provided to reduce a resistance difference by controlling a line width according to a length of signal lines and improve image quality by stably designing a resistance value of signal lines disposed in an edge of line groups. A display unit(110) includes plural pixels(115) disposed in an intersection between signal lines. A driving circuit unit(120) supplies a driving signal to the signal lines. A branched area is connected from the driving circuit unit to the pixels according as the signal lines are branched into at least two line groups. A line width of the signal lines is controlled so as to set a resistance difference per unit length between two signal lines, disposed in a boundary of the two line groups among the line groups and included in different line groups, to an intermediate value of mean resistance difference per unit length constantly set between neighboring signal lines within each of the two line groups.
