An apparatus for analyzing a digital image noise and a method thereof are provided to receive a digital image signal in real time, analyze the noise of the image signal, and display the analyzed result on an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) or a PDP(Plasma Display Panel) in real time. A video source/pattern generating device(100) generates an image signal or a certain pattern. A distributor(110) receives the image signal or the certain pattern, and distributes and outputs the image signal or the certain pattern to a reference board(120) and a test TV board(130). An image noise analyzing/measuring device(140) outputs the signal inputted from the video source/pattern generating device(100) and the signals inputted from the reference board(120) and the test TV board(130) as a noise-free image, a test board image, and a noise component image, selectively compares the respective signals, and judges a noise component. A plurality of image display devices(150,160,170) display the noise-free image, the test board image, and the noise component image outputted from the image noise analyzing/measuring device(140) on respective screens. |
