SYSTEM FOR MONITORING OVERHEAD LINE

An overhead line monitoring system is provided to accurately monitor the overhead line and peripheral circumferences by controlling a monitoring device to move on the overhead line by itself. An overhead line monitoring system includes plural monitoring devices(10), a monitoring system server(30), and a communication module(20). The monitoring devices are moved over an overhead line while obtaining a damage state on the overhead line or peripheral circumferences. The monitoring device obtains and transmits the damage state of the overhead line and the peripheral circumferences and removes a hazardous material. The monitoring system server receives the damage state and the peripheral circumferences for the respective overhead lines and stores and outputs the received information. The communication module performs wireless/wired communication processes for transferring information between the monitoring device and the monitoring system server.
