A code allocation method and a signal transmission method using the allocation method are provided to be capable of allocating a PSC(Primary Synchronization Code), an SSC(Secondary Synchronization Code), and an RS(Reference Signal) in order to carry out a cell searching process with low complexity at fast searching time. SSCs are allocated according to information on each of nodes B. RSs are allocated according to each sector-related information within areas of the nodes B. PSCs are allocated in units of the areas of the nodes B. The RSs are configured in a multiplied type between scrambling codes and orthogonal codes. The scrambling codes are mapped with cell group IDs, and the orthogonal codes are mapped with sector IDs.
