METHOD FOR ISOLATION OF LESS POLAR GINSENOSIDES FROM GINSENG EXTRACTS BY COUNTER CURRENT CHROMATOGRAPHY

A method for separating ginsenosides from an insam(ginseng) extract by counter current chromatography is provided to obtain low polar ginsenosides of high purity from the crude material containing low polar ginsenosides of low purity by one chromatography process. A method for separating ginsenosides from an insam extract by counter current chromatography comprises the steps of filling the column of a counter current chromatography device with a stationary phase solvent; injecting a mobile phase solvent into the column with a specific injection velocity with rotating it with a specific rotation velocity; injecting an insam extract into a sample injection hole when the mobile phase and the stationary phase form equilibrium together; and detecting ginsenosides from the eluate.
