A hanger for fixing a muffler for a vehicle is provided to facilitate an installation work of a hanger by forming display units for position checking on the top and bottom surfaces of a hanger body. A hanger for fixing a muffler for a vehicle comprises a hanger body(100) having a hollow section(110). The hollow section has a first protruding section(111) on the inner bottom surface(110a) thereof. A second protruding section(112) protrudes from the upper surface of the first protruding section and has a diameter smaller than that of the first protruding section. Both side sections(140) positioned at both sides of the hollow section of the hanger body are thinner than other parts. A mounting section(113) is formed on a connection part of the first and second protruding sections and on the second protruding section, and has a diameter larger than those of the first and second protruding sections. Display units(151,152) for position checking are formed on the top and bottom surfaces of the hanger body.
