An apparatus for moving an imaging lens is provided to transfer the imaging lens group along an axis direction without rotating the imaging lens group by transferring a macro core having a lens holder along the axis direction. An imaging sensor element(1) is mounted on a circuit board(3). A counter plate(6) and a switching lever are formed on a rotary barrel(8). A nut is formed on an inner periphery of a macro core(11). An imaging lens group(12) is embedded in a lens holder, which includes a bolt. The bolt is screw-coupled with a button. A wave washer(15) and an aperture are formed on a cover(17). The cover is firmly fixed on the circuit board. A guide barrel is protruded from the counter plate. The rotary barrel having the switching lever is rotatably inserted into an outer periphery of a guide barrel(21). A ring like groove(23) is inserted into an end portion of the guide barrel. Plural slant cam surfaces are provided along a peripheral direction on an upper surface of the rotary barrel. A bump, which is mated with the slant cam surface, is formed on a bottom surface of the macro core.
