<p>A machining device for machining mechanical parts comprises hollow cylindrical tool (140) presenting a distal end with a free edge that is shaped to perform machining when the tool is rotated about its axis. The hollow cylindrical tool is fitted internally with a transverse mechanism forming a shaving-breaker. It is secured axially to a distal end of a hollow cylindrical spindle (120), the hollow cylindrical spindle being mounted to rotate about its own axis on a support plate (102), and is driven externally by rotary drives mounted on the support plate.
