A shift lever apparatus for an automatic transmission includes: a lever main body including a rod insertion hole provided thereto and a receiving member insertion hole, and swingably supported by a shifter main body; a compression rod inserted in the rod insertion hole from a lower end of the lever main body; a spring, inserted into the rod insertion hole from the lower end of the lever main body, for pressing the compression rod toward an upper end of the lever main body; and a spring receiving member inserted into the receiving member insertion hole, and including a concave portion for holding a lower end of the spring. |
